July 11th & 12th 2025 @ Gosforth Trinity. You may have heard of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. You are probably less familiar with Jayne Eh by her completely forgotten sister Cassandra. Long thought to be lost, GMS and ex-NUGSS bring this fictional treasured work to the stage, loaded down with Victorian music.
November 14th & 15th 2025 @ Gosforth Civic Theatre. John Wellington Wells, the sorcerer, brings to life the waxworks of Grimsby and Gertrude Grice so that they can commit burglaries. Meanwhile, his love potion also causes problems between the central couple of Edwin and Angelina… A lively, funny show with magic, romance, fighting and plenty of ‘in-jokes’ for a G&S audience! Enjoyed by all ages.
A gentleman’s romantic ambitions lead him to unleash a powerful love potion upon his unsuspecting village. Chaos ensues as mismatched couples and unexpected romances abound in this lighthearted operetta.

Join us as we bring the misadventures of the cursed baronets of Ruddigore to life on stage. Follow the romantic pursuits of our characters, as they navigate the challenges of a witch’s curse, and the gallery of spectral ancestors who enforce it. From secret pasts to tangled romances, this show has all the ingredients of classic Gilbert and Sullivan.
Rehearsals are underway for our winter performance of ‘Humbug!’, an adaptation Dickens’ Christmas Carol with an added G&S flavour, written by Fraser Charlton.
